Robert D. Campagna, M.D.
Dr. Robert Campagna has been with New York Cardiology Associates since 2007. Dr. Campagna graduated from Brown University in 1983 with a degree in American History. After graduation he worked for two years for the Centers for Disease Control and then attended Cornell University Medical College from which he was graduated in 1989.
Dr. Campagna completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology fellowship training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center. After completing his medical training, Dr. Campagna joined the faculty at Cornell University Medical College where he was the Associate Director of the Cardiac Care Unit for 12 years. During his time on faculty, Dr. Campagna was an active clinical researcher, clinician and teacher. Dr. Campagna left the full time faculty at Cornell in 2007 and went on to join New York Cardiology Associates at that time.
Dr. Campagna is board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College and Associate Attending Physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He resides in New York City with his wife and two children.
